Mirko Alilovic about the Hungarian Cup

 

We asked Mirko Alilovic, who was fantastic in the final, about the Hungarian Cup Final4.

 

 

I can say that after this difficult month where we were disappointed about Skjern and the really bad game we did, we played 2 good games. When we arrived to the semi-final, we had good feelings because we played good since a long time ago. We were leading by 10 goals and still pushed against Balatonfüred. We crowned the weekend in the final with an amazing game, the whole team played very well. We knew that it will be difficult, but we knew also that we will have our own 10 minutes. It was the last 10 minutes of the game, where we break the score and won the game.

 

I can say that I was in good form in the last few weeks and I can say that I was also feeling very well in this last month. I felt good and played good in the semi-final as well. I had a great defense in front of me in the final. When I had to help the team, because we were 2 men down, I saved in important times, and that is the key. That is how you win titles.

 

We have a more important games, like Tatabánya and Dabas at home. We have two games against Szeged. I agree that we have to celebrate the title because it is important for us. It was difficult and uncomfortable after the elimination from the Champions League. Winning the CL was the dream of everyone in the dressing room. Now that we won the cup, we have even more ambition to win the league and also for me, it would be a proper way to say goodbye to the Club.
