Mikita Vailupau joins Telekom Veszprém

Mikita Vailupau was born on 30 July 1995, in Vicebszk, Belarus. He began his professional career in Dinamo Minszk, from there he transferred to the city rival SKA Minszk and most recently, he completed a move to Meskov Brest where he already won two championship titles.

Mikita is an essential figure in the Belarusian national team. During the 2020 European Championship he scored 47 goals in 7 matches, finishing second in the goal scoring tally.

The quick-footed winger – who will be wearing the #55 jersey next season – has already scored 23 goals in 6 matches in this season’s EHF Champions League.

Fun fact, Mikita Vailupau holds the record for scoring the most goals in one match in the SEHA League; a Belarusian winger scored 20 (!) goals against RK Metaloplastika in October 2019.
