Telekom Veszprém visited Mezőkövesd in the recent round of the K&H League. The guest Veszprém started with a higher tempo, and it was grinding up the home team. They did not have the answer to the saves of Székely and to the fast and precise attacks neither. Dániel Budai called a timeout because of that in the 8th minute, at 1:6 standing. The timeout came well for Kövesd, but they could not come closer. In the 15th minute, Veszprém had a 6:10 lead. The guest strength did not fade and Veszprém only gaining more and more advantage. The standing in half time was 14:22.
 
The youngsters got a chance in the second half, and Cupara came to the net. The home team had to call another timeout in the 40th minute, after Veszprém took a 10 goals lead for the first time. Moraes scored the 26th goal, to which the home team scored 16 only. Márk Bodor scored great goals, while Cupara continued from where Székely left in the first half. The standing in the 45th minute was 17:32. Telekom Veszprém won and controlled the game for the entire time. Final result: Mezőkövesdi KC – Telekom Veszprém 26:46

Dániel Budai: Congratulations to Veszprém. I only had 8-9 adult players, the rest was from the youth team. All in all, we did some good things. In games like these the better team leads the tempo. We are trying to achieve our goals.
 
Máté Dávid: I think should not be sad. We got the order to play freely. We could hold ourselves in the first half, but we had no chance in the second. The difference between the teams showed at the end.
