David Davis: We did not start good but we wanted to do the things well. We played our second game in a short period of time. Everybody was nervous because we wanted to do a good job. We make mistakes, and we need more time. We started to rotate the team, as well as the opponent, and this was the period when we could take a lead.

 

Gasper Marguc: I think, like the coach said, we did not open the game so good but the important thing is that we showed that we are the better team. Maybe we made too many mistakes but at the end, I am happy to feel the victory again. I feel like we are improving every day in trainings and eventually it will show on the court. We have to go to the same direction, everybody. I am also very happy to be back on the court. Thanks to everybody who patiently waited for me after these difficult months. I am happy to be back and help the team again.

 

 

Dániel Buday: Congratulations to the winning team. We knew that Veszprém is in a bit of a pit now. They did not play, as a team like them should have in these couple of weeks. They travelled a lot and played a game a few days ago so the fatigue was visible on them. Of course, they are still the best team in the world. I am sure that they will come out of this crisis and shine again in their past glory. About my club, I told my players to give everything they got. There is nothing to hold back for. Let’s play bravely, disciplined and passionate. I got what I asked from them. We made mistakes but despite that congratulations to my team. I called attention to the fact that I expect the same discipline on any other games where we have a real chance to win. Good luck to Veszprém.

 

Péter Kovács: Congratulations to Veszprém for the victory. We played a great game and we managed to make their job a bit harder. We could also satisfy our supporters. If we could take this game over to our more important championship game, we have a real chance to stay in the first division. We have a chance against anyone with this kind of performance.
