Máté Lékai and Andreas Nilsson were both injured

 

Yesterday, in the end game of the Hungarian Cup final, which was concluded in Telekom Veszprém’s victory, Máté Lékai injured his right thumb after an unfortunate collision. After the game, our playmaker was examined in the hospital of Veszprém, where the doctors diagnosed a splintery fracture, which needed to be operated and was done this morning. The healing process of the Hungarian center back will take 3-4 weeks.

 

 

Andreas Nilsson did not participate last weekend either, because his right shoulder was injured at the Swedish national team in a friendly game. Doctors examined him in Sweden and in Hungary as well, and they determined a muscle injury in his shoulder. The recovery of our line player will take 4-6 weeks, which means that his season is over in Telekom Veszprém. Andreas will travel home to Sweden where he will do his rehabilitation, but he will come back to Veszprém at latest for the Hungarian championship final, to support his teammates.
