Xavi Sabaté: First of all congratulations to our opponent for the great game tonight. The luck that we lacked in the first half of the season was with us now. It is a good sign for us. The final result shows how though this game was for us. Our defense was not good at all in the first half which lead to our opponent scoring 8 goals from 10 shots from 9 meters. For the second half we chose to go with a taller wall with Blagotinsek and Ligetvári. I think it worked well because they could only score 2 goals from the 9 meter line in the second half. It was important for us because Császár and Maros played amazingly in the first half. In offense we did well in key moments. Few players, who needed some time before, are improving step by step such as Blagotinsek and Ligetvári. I am happy for Gulyás Péter who played very well in key moments. We are happy for the win because it was an important two points. From now on we are preparing for the game against Presov.
Andreas Nilsson: This game was tight from the beginning. We did not have many fast breaks and that was a problem. It was hard and exhausting to play against Schaffhausen but we managed to solve this problem with the help of our tall defenders. We are lucky that we got the 2 points in this great game. We are happy that we still have a chance for the 3rd place in the group.
Peter Kukucka: Congratulations to Veszprém for the win. I am happy because in the last few Champions League games we only played for 40 minutes while today we fought for the whole 60 minutes. It was good to see that we fought until the very end. Of course I am a bit disappointed but all in all I can be satisfied with the guys' performance. The improvement can be seen on our team match by match. It is very important for me.
Luka Maros: It was a tough game and also the best game for us this season. We played as a team for 60 minutes. In the end we were only short by one goal but we are able to learn from this match and from the whole Champions League experience. I am sure that we can use this for the next season.
