Interview with Máté Lékai

 

The team is still in the middle of training camp in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia and they are working hard to get in the best possible shape before the start of the season. We asked the new captain, Máté Lékai, about his impressions of the camp.

 

 

We are at a beautiful place, we are surrounded by mountains. There was a huge storm a few days ago, which I am sure everyone saw on social media. We just finished taking a walk, because we did not have training in the afternoon. It is really beautiful here, and everything is given to work well.

 

We have an early breakfast, then a gym session or running session. After walking back to the hotel we have lunch, after which we have a little rest. In the afternoon, we play handball. Both trainings take two hours approximately. We have dinner in the evening. Also, we focus on regeneration and physiotherapy as well. So the training camp is all about focusing on handball and resting when we can.

 

I think it is great. Everyone arrived back to the team with a lot of enthusiasm and the new players were integrated very quickly. We are spending trainings and out of trainings in a good mood. We are together more than with our families, so it is important to feel good while doing that.
