Interview with Ljubomir Vranjes

 

The team has left to Sittard, to the Dutch training camp, where they will start the preparations under the control of Ljubomir Vranjes. We asked our Swedish head coach about the process of preparation and the season ahead of us.

 

 

Summer was great, I had a lot of sun even in Sweden. I enjoyed the summer very much with my family. I had enough rest for the whole year.

 

Last season we lost some games that we should not have lost. We did not have the luck on our side. We also did not have the right level in some games. I know why and we need to do better this season. We need to lose less games.

 

I think it was really important to get 5 new players, to get some new blood in the team. I am happy for every player who came this summer and I think they will fit really well in the team.

 

 

We will have physical tests. We will start with breakfast of course then have physical tests, anything from jumping to weightlifting and running, short of long distance. Also a lot of time in the gym. In the afternoons we will train some handball also and have meetings with the team about the future and the goals that we should have next year.

 

I have 5 new players, so it will be important to get them into the team quickly. It always takes time with new ones, but it is important to integrate quickly. We will start working on our strong points to do them better than last year and on our weaknesses as well. We will prepare for the real games in the championship and Champions League. We want to step one level and these games will show the way.
