How do you like Slovenia and the facilities in Rogla?
I love Slovenia, I like it a lot. I really like the country, the nature and the people. We have perfect conditions to train, there are some things that can be better but all in all we are very satisfied here.
What are your impressions so far about the training camp after a week?
I think it is very good. The players are normally very tired but they train very well and the motivation is on top. They train very hard but they still have motivation and still have the happiness. It is a very good preseason so far.
What does an average day look like?
We wake up at 7 o'clock in the morning and we have a 4 kilometers run at 7:30. After that we have breakfast at 8:15 and have a training once again at 10:00 in the gym or just a run again. After that we eat, the players have a sleep and we train again at 5 o'clock until 7 p.m. We have dinner at 8 p.m. and after that the players go to sleep. Next day we do this again.
What is the main goal of this training camp, what do you focus on the most?
We have not played handball so much until now. The physical preparation is the most important for this moment. Running and building the strength and power for the future.
How do you see the 3 new players in the training camp? Is their integration going well?
It is going very well and fast. The guys who has been here are great guys and make it easy for the new ones. It is quick and they trained like everybody else. The whole group is training well.
How does the atmosphere feel like generally? We can see a lot of smiley moments on the social media.
I am a coach who is building a team at first. After that we can build ourselves up and build our handball up. It is going really well and everybody is making the right decisions that are the best for the team. That is how we can make steps forward. I am really happy how the players are acting and supporting each other.
What was the funniest moment for you yet? Maybe the ride with Timuzsin on the bobsled?
The ride with Timuzsin was not so funny but rather scary. I laughed but it was a hard laugh. We had some rollercoasters down the hill. It was funny but I was also a little bit scared.
What is going to happen in the remainder of the training camp?
We have a training today and the same procedure tomorrow. We are going to have a dinner together Friday and Saturday evening. After that some team building. You will probably see some pictures about what we are doing. It is going to be a sport activity. We will see a little bit more of Slovenia.
