Interview with Andreas Nilsson

As we have already informed you, MVM Veszprém’s pivot player Andreas Nilsson and the team have extended contract for two more years until June 30, 2019. We made a short interview with our Swedish players about this before the team went to Presov.

 

 

It’s really great. I love everything here: the team, the fans, the town and the country. I really like it here so I’m really happy that my contract has been extended.

 

Not at all. It was a very easy decision. I’m glad that we could make that happen, I hope everyone else feels the same way.

 

You never know what to expect. I knew what I’m capable of and I wanted to show it to everyone. That’s why I’m really happy that I have the chance to continue my career here for another two years.

 

Of course winning the SEHA League, the Hungarian Championship and the Hungarian Cup. And I will never forget the Champions League Final Four where we lost unfortunately and it’s not the greatest memory but I hope it will be different this time.

 

 

 

Lake Balaton is beautiful in the summer; I really like to be there with my teammates. And since it is near, we often visit Budapest to have some fun.

 

I am quite easy-going, I can’t be said to be a loud player in the dressing room. I come here to train, I do my job, I do the same things as the others. I’m one of the players in this team; I get on well with everyone. I think I’m a normal guy (laughing).

 

It is always great playing in front of our fans that are the best fans ever, I think. I can’t believe I can play here for at least 3 more years. Go for it Veszprém!
