The new left back, the Croatian Ivan Sliskovic has arrived in Veszprém. We made an interview with him.

 

 

Thank you! I’m happy to be here. I really looked forward coming here; I’ve been thinking about Veszprém and the upcoming season the whole summer break.

 

The team is great, the fans are fantastic and the Arena is just like the same as the Arena in Celje. This is a big traditional Club, one of the bests.

 

I think Veszprém is one of the best handball teams in the world. Of course I have my own goals, I wanted to move forward and face new challenges. I can’t wait to gain new trophies with Veszprém.

 

Yes, of course. I mostly talked to Mirko about it. He said that everything is going great and that there’s no need for deliberation.

 

Yes, I actually know everyone because they are really famous but I only know Gasi, Máté, Mirko, and Mirsad in person.

 

I started to play handball when I was about eleven or twelve. My first team was Split, I played there until the age of 19, and then I signed to Nexe where I spent two years, just like in Celje.

 

I’d like to help Veszprém to gain more trophies and I also want to improve myself and become a better player.

 

I don’t really like to talk about myself. I let people form opinion through my attitude. I always play for my team because victory is the most important thing for the team and for me, as well.

 

I have to say that fans of Veszprém are the best in the world and I can’t wait to win trophies with the team and celebrate with the fans.
