Xavi Sabaté: Congratulations to our team for the qualification. Moreover I congratulate to the Serbian team for their great performance and for the excellent work of Dejan Peric. Great thanks for our fans and players for this long season. They did everything with 100% and did their best. We knew that it was a very important moment for the Hungarian handball. I would like to mention Nándor Fazekas who is an excellent player and even if he had retired he came back to help in favor of the future. I would like to also say thank you for the rest of the players for their performance. Thanks for the Federation, the Club and the fans for their trust and support. I am glad that we could make it to the World Championship. I wish everyone a great vacation!
Máté Lékai: Congratulations for the Serbian team’s performance, they fought great. Of course, I congratulate to my own team, too. I think that we played better on home court than away. In the second half we were more confident. We have a very hard and long season behind us, so I am glad that we can have a holiday with a sense of achievement. I hope that we could earn our fan’s trust back after a less successful European Championship. Congratulations to the football players for their victory. We are also going to France next year.
Dejan Peric: I congratulate to the Hungarian National Team, they have deserved the victory. I am always happy when I have to come to Veszprém. It is a special place to me because a lot of people love me here. Both game represented high standards but unfortunately for us the end was not joyful. We knew that it would be hard after the first game but we had faith. Unfortunately we did not manage to get into the World Cup because the Hungarian National Team is very powerful. However, I also congratulate to my own players. Furthermore I would like to thank the organizers for their work and the fans for making such a good atmosphere. Thanks to them, this game will always be a great memory in spite of the defeat.
Tibor Ivanisevic: Congratulations for the Hungarian National Team for their well-deserved qualification. We came here with the intention to surprise everyone. We have tried but unfortunately we did not succeeded, so it makes us disappointed. I feel sorry for the end of this clash but I am also proud that I could prepare with such good teammates and what is more, with the help of Dejan Peric. I feel that we did everything in order to win.
