David Davis: The first half was not that good. We tried to prepare well but they surprised us with some actions. In the second half, the players were more focused and increased the level. They did an excellent second half and we won the match.
Petar Nenadic: The first half was very bad, horrible even. After the break, we started playing handball and we could have happy faces at the end. It was good preparation for us for Sunday’s game against Montpellier. Thank you Gyöngyös for the nice game.

Csaba Konkoly: Congratulations to Veszprém and good luck for them for the Champions League. We knew that it would be difficult to keep up against such a good opponent. We are very proud of the performance we put out tonight. We were worthy for Veszprém. I am also happy that we could show some elements that surprised our opponent. We started the second half badly, with tactical and technical mistakes, which were used well by Veszprém. It was inevitable that this tempo in the defense will tire us and this is what happened. The wall and our keeper did not have each other’s rhythm. The difference got bigger and bigger in the second half but we tried our best anyways. We are proud of our Fans, who cheered for us standing up, this means a lot. I feel like the difference was a bit much, we wanted to stay between 10 goals. Today, Veszprém played the better handball.
Máté Gábori: Congratulations to Veszprém for the victory. We could hold their tempo in the first half. Our guests made more mistakes there. The difference in the levels came out for the second period. They used our mistakes mercilessly in the man down situations and any technical faults. I wish them good luck in the Champions League. We did our best to be able to hold the tempo as long as possible. We got a bit tired in the second half sooner that we should have. We will try to keep this tempo for our upcoming games.
