Ljubomir Vranjes: I am satisfied with winning the game. Many things worked well today. We played against a great team. They showed against three good opponents that they play good handball. It is not easy to play here. I am proud of my team and with the way they fought together. Of course we made some mistakes but it happens against such a good team like Brest. We fought together until the end and I think we had the cooler head for the end game. Also Roland Mikler had some very important saves at the end.
Roland Mikler: First of all, congratulations to Brest, it was a huge game. We came here to win and we have succeeded. Our defense was outstanding today, they helped me a lot in the game. We could win today because they did such a great job.
Sergei Bebeshkov: First of all, let me congratulate Veszprém for the win. We have a tough game behind us. This game shows how much routine worth in the end game. The players of Veszprém were much cooler and made better decisions in critical points of the game. We have a handful of young players who played in these critical moments to learn how to deal with situations like these. We started out great in the first half, our goalkeeper made many saves. However, in the end of the half we could not do what we planned to do. In the second period we were running behind Veszprém the whole time and we were trying to get closer. We managed to do it but at the end, cooler heads decided the game. We only have 2 points in 3 games which is not a good performance from us. I think that the spectators can be satisfied with the performance of the team. We are going away for a longer roadtrip but when we come back to play in our own arena we are expecting them to support us.
Konstantin Igropulo: I would like to congratulate our opponent too. I feel like the win just slipped out of our hands and as the coach of Veszprém said they were much cooler in the end game. We made a lot of turn overs. It was only up to us to score from our chances but we failed to do so. Regardless I feel like we showed great team play. We have to forget this game quickly and concentrate on our games ahead of us.
