David Davis: I expected a difficult match because I knew that one of the more difficult places to play is Tatabánya, Veszprém and Szeged. It was not my first time that I saw them. The first half was good more or less, then in the second half we lost some balls, we did not train too much to change in defense. It is my fault, because I prepared the team and I expected the things. We lost and we need to forget about today’s game and focus on Szeged. Congratulations to Vladan Matic and Tatabánya because they played very well tonight.

Máté Lékai: Congratulations to Tatabánya because they did a clever game. For us, this game was obviously awful. We did not expect this and that is not how we wanted to play. We played very dumb with a lot of mistakes. As coach have said we do not have any other choice other than focusing on Sunday’s game, as we must win on home court. I am sorry that we could not satisfy our Supporters in the hall and those in front of the television. We have no choice than winning on Sunday.

 

Vladan Matic: First, congratulations to Veszprém, it was a fair game tonight. Both teams were fair. It is visible on Veszprém that they had to travel twice in the last weeks in the Champions League, and that they do not have right wings. This is what we tried to use in our tactics and focused more on the three inner backs. We closed the area. Our goalkeepers saved well today. I am not satisfied with our first five minutes, we attacked impatiently. After a long time, I could see on my team that they can control a game for 55 minutes and can attack cleverly. We tried to do everything we have talked about before the game. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it did not but we had discipline all the way. Not in the first five minutes, there I was angry, but after that, I enjoyed the game. Tatabánya is not an easy opponent, we defend very well and when it pairs up a great goalkeeper performance that is the winning combination. Veszprém is on a difficult road in the last one and a half month, but I am sure they will get themselves together and reach the spot where they should be until Spring. It is not easy; it takes a lot of work and patience from the Fans and everyone. We, Hungarians, are very impatient. Let’s give them time and some space because it is hard to take such pressure. Today we were not under pressure, but we will be on Saturday. I will be happy if we win against Mezőkövesd. Today was fantastic but it does not mean anything if we lose against Mezőkövesd on Saturday.

 

Adrián Sipos: Congratulations to Veszprém. Our fans were amazing, they had our backs all through the game and we managed to give them a bit of happiness with these two points. For ourselves as well. We prepared a lot to Veszprém, and what we planned worked really well. It is a bit of a surprise because we were not the favorites but this is huge for us. There will be a little bit of celebration at home for everyone but starting tomorrow, we concentrate on our game on Saturday.
