Gasper Marguc signs 2-year contract extension with Telekom Veszprém

Our Slovenian winger, Gasper Marguc will be staying in Veszprém for another 2 years. Our steady handed right-winger is in excellent form, and once again he is undoubtedly one of our best players this season. According to Gasper, he is still very much motivated and aims to perform to his maximum during every game. This can be proved with nothing better, than the Carlos Perez Award, which is awarded every year, solely based on the votes of fans. In the 2020/21 season, Gasper received this award personally, from Carlos Perez himself.

Gasper has been playing in Veszprém for 8 years, scoring 1145 goals in 308 matches and this season, he already scored 68 times. He made his transfer to us in 2014 from RK Celje, and during this time he became a 6-time Hungarian champion, 7-time Hungarian cup winner, 3-time Champions League finalist and 4-time SEHA League winner. He has become a real icon here in Veszprém.
