MKB-MVM Veszprém played its last official game on 18th of December, when they won against Vojvodina at home in SEHA League (31:26). Veszprém fans had to wait 47 days for the new game, which starts at 6 pm this Wednesday in Veszprém Arena.
The opponent team will be Radnicki Kragujevac, about which you could read in our previous article. In SEHA League’s 9th round, we played an away match with the Serbian Championship’s silver medalist and had a four-goal victory (24:28). Gasper Marguc was our team’s most successful player with his 9 goals, while in the other team Gugleta and Rajicevic scored for 4-4 times.
Our guest on Wednesday is currently the 8th in the ten-team South East European tournament with two victories (Borac, Metalurg), one draw (Vojvodina) and ten defeats. The game against the Serbian team is expected to be very enjoyable considering their first game in the halftime of which it was a draw thanks to the pace they set. Their victory against Metalurg Skopje (29:24) also deserves attention, even if the Macedonian team weakened lately. In SEHA League, Radnicki player Nemanja Grbovic is the 5th on the scoring list with his 50 goals.
MKB-MVM Veszprém played perfectly in SL and we hope that it stays the same on Wednesday evening. Those players who did not play in the World Championship worked really hard last month. Getting back from Qatar, Andreas Nilsson and Mirsad Terzic joined the team recently. Our two Spanish players, Cristian Ugalde and Chema Rodríguez as well as the Croatian Mirko Alilovic, however, will be back on Thursday so Carlos Ortega cannot count on them in the first match of the season’s second half. Gergely Rózsavölgyi will be ouranother goalkeeper, instead of Mirko, and in the left wing position Fekete Dávid will play instead of Cristian.
Tickets are still available in the Arena’s cashier’s office and on

Live broadcast on Digi Sport1.
It is worth coming earlier to the Arena because at 4 pm our youth team plays a game against PLER so Arena opens at 3:55 pm. You can go to the youth match with the SEHA League ticket. We would like to create a tradition and have youth matches before senior matches. We hope that more and more people will visit the games in the Arena and support our young talents.
