Foreshadow: Veszprém – Nexe

SEHA League continues in Veszprém from 6PM on Tuesday. The Croatian Nexe Nasice visits Telekom Veszprém in their home. We managed to defeat our next opponent in the previous season two times with big difference. On the first match the result was 35:21 in Croatia, Gasper Marguc scored 6 goals while Momir Ilic, Renato Sulic and Andreas Nilsson scored 5-5-5 goals. On home court we won for 39:21 leaded by Máté Lékai scored 8 goals. Besides him, Marguc and Ilic scored 6-6 goals.

 

 

Our Tuesday’s opponent was 6th in last year’s SEHA League and they are on the 7th place right now. They have 7 matches behind them and they could win only 2 and they made a draw with Metalurg Szkopje (25:25). Out of the two victories one was against Meshkov Breszt – they were finalist last year –, which is a fantastic result. Moreover last time they played a tight match against Vardar, the result was 27:30.

 

Their best goal scorer is Vedran Zrnic, who scored 50 goals on 7 matches so far. Martin Vegar follows him with 23 goals.

 

Veszprém comes into the game with an away defeat because Barcelona won against us for 26:23 in the Champions League last Saturday.
