Foreshadow: Veszprém – Gyöngyös

 

HE-DO B.Braun Gyöngyös visits Telekom Veszprém in the Veszprém Arena in the upcoming round of the K&H League on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. The game will be broadcasted live by M4 Sport.

 

 

We have already had an encounter with Gyöngyös this season, on the road. The game held on 28 October did not start well for Veszprém, the home team could even take the lead in the half time. Veszprém gathered itself and finally managed to take an 11 goals victory home, 23:34. The top scorer of the game was Dejan Manaskov with six goals.

 

Gyöngyös is currently at sixth place in the K&H League with twelve victories, three draws and eight losses. They could achieve a huge surprise by defeating Tatabánya in away. Top scorer of Gyöngyös on that game was Mirko Herceg with six goals. The overall top scorer in the legague for our upcoming opponent is Mitar Markez, who scored 90 goals over 23 games.

 

The ”Építők” played last Saturday in the Champions League, when they hosted the German champion Flensburg-Handewitt. After the away win, Veszprém could win again at home and knocked Flensburg out with 10 goals on aggregate. The team can show itself in the most prestigious European cup series in the beginning of June. Veszprém played against Mezőkövesd the last time in the Hungarian league and managed to achieve a 37:22 victory with a confident performance.
