Foreshadow: Veszprém – Dabas

 

Telekom Veszprém hosts Dabasi KC VSE in the Veszprém Arena on Monday at 6:00 p.m. in the next round of the K&H League. The game will be broadcasted live by Veszprém Handball TV Youtube channel. 

 

 

In the previous season the two parties met in Dabas first, where Veszprém took the points home after a 21:39 victory. The top scorer of the game was Dragan Gajic with eight goals. The next fixture was played in Veszprém, where the home team took a seventeen-goal win, 34:17. Top scorers of the game were Dragan Gajic and Patrik Ligetvári with five goals each.

 

Dabas is currently sitting on tenth position in the championship with two victories, two draws and eight losses. They amanged to beat Vecsés and Cegléd, while they finished the game in a draw against Gyöngyös and Budakalász. Their last league game was against Szeged, which ended in a ten-goal defeat for them. Their top scorer in the K&H League is Tamás Borsos with 41 goals.

 

 

For the new season, they signed Tamás Borsos and Péter Pallag from Cegléd, Szabolcs Szöllősi from Tatabánya and Koppány Törteli from Vác. Meanwhile, Norbert Duleba, Dávid Bakos, Tamás Hajdu, Ádám Korsós, Tanaka Kei, Olivér Szöllősi, Rajmund Pocsai and Petr Slachta left the klub over the summer.

 

Telekom Veszprém played against FTC in the K&H League last week and managed to achieve a confident victory of 36:23. Top scorer of the game was Iman Jamali with six goals. The “Építők” closed the first half of the Champions League brilliantly, after defeating the titleholder Montpellier for the second time this season. The top scorer of the last CL game in the year was Andreas Nilsson with six goals.
