Foreshadow: Veszprém – Cegléd

 

On Wednesday at 6 p.m. Telekom Veszprém hosts Ceglédi KKSE in the Veszprém Arena. This upcoming round of the K&H League will not be televised.

 

 

Last season we beat Cegléd back-to-back by a big margin. First we travelled to our opponent last year at the end of August, and won 24:40. On that game Gasper Marguc was our top scorer with 6 goals. On our home game, we beat them 34:22 and our top scorers were Blaz Blagotinsek and Dragan Gajic with 7 goals each.

 

Cegléd currently stands at 10th place in the K&H League. They played 13 games so far and won 3 times, draw 3 times and lost 7 times. They managed to beat FTC, Gyöngyös and Komló. Their top scorer in the championship is Ivan Perisic with 58 goals.

 

 

For the new season, Cegléd signed 4 players, while 8 left the club. Károly Juhász came from Gyöngyös, Tomislav Radnic left Mezőkövesd, Uros Elezovic signed from Ramhat Hasharon and Peter Koncz came from Veszprém KKFT Felsőörs. Balázs Bíró, Norbert Tóth, Dániel Bősz, Milan Sajin, Máté Gidai, Dániel Fiar, Luka Karanovic and Bozo Andjelic left Cegléd over the summer.

 

The “Építők” played in Tatabánya last time and managed to win in a tough fight, 28:31. Before that, they played against Budakalász, also in the Hungarian championship and won 25:44. In the Champions League, they played their last game of the year against Kielce and won on home court 31:26.
