Foreshadow: Veszprém – Budakalász

 

Telekom Veszprém will play against Budakalász KZrt. in the K&H League on Tuesday at 18:00. The game will be broadcasted live by Veszprém Handball TV YouTube channel.

 

The last game against Budakalász ended in a big difference victory. Most of the questions were already decided in the first half, where after the team warmed into the game, they gained an eleven goals advantage in 30 minutes. In the second period the guest attacks kept on pushing, Gasper Marguc went all the way to eleven goals, and the youngsters got a chance as well. The final result was 24:41.

 

Budakalász is on the 13^th spot in the championship, meaning relegation, and their situation is not so easy as they trail Mezőkövesd and Orosháza by four points. They have two victories and fourteen losses, with a draw beside their names. They managed to win against Ferencváros and Vác, while they kept a point at home against Mezőkövesd. In the last round they lost in a close game against Gyöngyös, 30:31. Their top scorer is Ádám Török with 64 goals.

 

Telekom Veszprém played their last game against Montpellier yesterday on home court in the Champions League’s Match of the Week. The game ended 24:23 for Veszprém, with Árpád Sterbik taking man of the match award with his 52% saving efficiency. Out on the court, Dragan Gajic scored seven times. In the K&H League the “Építők” played last Tuesday in Mezőkövesd, from where they could travel home with another big victory of 26:46.
