First of all, we would like to inform you that we provide a separate entrance (the one near to the fans’ shop) for discount ticket owners (students below 19 and retirees). Please make sure that your discount certificate (student card, retired card) is with you and show them to our colleagues.
Yesterday at the
press conference, Coach Ortega and Máté Lékai shared their opinions and expectations concerning the SEHA League and the upcoming game. They said that they had not enough time to prepare and Brest has been getting stronger, but they expect a victory from their players who are far from their best form, yet they are extremely good anyway.
In the other team, the new coach Sergey Bebeshko who replaced Zeljko Babic (left for the Croatian nation team) said that he expects a responsible game from his team; moreover he wants to see the positive attitude that his team showed in the preparation games and their first game in the SEHA League (Meshkov Brest – Spartak Vojput 40:28). In addition, he informed us that Charapenko will expectedly replace Pototsky, while Atman might replace Kulak. According to the right wing Maksim Baranau, they are continuously developing and they definitely want to perform their best in the game against the former winner Veszprém which defeated them three times in the previous season.
Janko Bozovic (Metalurg), Ivan Karacic (Minaur Baia Mare) and Oleg Astrashapkin (Vaci) left Brest this summer. They are replaced by the Russian playmaker Pavel Atmen (El Jaish), the 215-cm Lithuanian right back Dainis Kristopans (Tatran Presov, Al Rayyan), the Spanish Aleksandar Tiometsev (Plock) and two Belarusian players namely Andrea Yourinov and Artem Kulak.
