Foreshadow: Veszprém – Balatonfüred

 

Telekom Veszprém hosts Balatonfüredi KSE in the K&H League on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. The game will not be televised.

 

 

Veszprém and Balatonfüred have met already this season on 10 August in a preparation game, where Veszprém managed to win 35:18. Last championship season we met them twice and won both times. First, we won in away 25:39 then at home 40:26.

 

Füred finished the regular season last year on 4th position and they were only short by 2 points from the third place. Besides this they won the bronze medal in the Hungarian Cup by defeating Csurgó. They had 20 victories and 6 losses last season in the league.

 

 

Two players came and five left the club. The two new arrivals are Uelington Ferreira from Csurgó and Olivér Szöllősi coming back from loan in Dabas. On the departing side: Stanislav Kasparek left to Szeged, Milán Varsandán signed with Gyöngyös, Dávid Debreczeni is going to play in FTC, László Horváth has been loaned out to Mezőkövesd, while Daniel Kyvala is still looking for a team.

 

The ”Építők” played in Barcelona on Saturday and unfortunately lost from the Spanish champions 31:28. Our top scorer was Dragan Gajic with 8 goals.

 

Hopefully, we can continue our good streak in the Hungarian league and we can prepare for the weekend against HC Vardar with a victory.
