Foreshadow: Szeged – Veszprém

MKB-MVM Veszprém is facing Hungarian Championship 2014/15 season play-off, where its opponent team is the big rival, MOL-Pick Szeged. This game is significant because it will decide which of the two teams will start the final clash at home next week. The game will be held in the new sports hall of Szeged, at 6 pm, Saturday. Duna World will live broadcast the derby.

The team of Veszprém is preparing for the game confidently because in this season it won each game against the team of “Tisza-part”, although none of the games were held in Szeged. Last time they clashed in the Pécs Cup Final on April 26 and finally “Építők” defeated (26:22) their main rival and gained the trophy again.

If they win with only 5-goal difference, then Veszprém will end up on the top of the table because of the totalized goal difference. Our current result is +92, and theirs is +51.

Carlos Ortega and his players obviously want to win and do not want to calculate at the end of the match. Nearly 250 Veszprém fans will support them in the venue. Both teams gained triumph before the title bout: Szeged against Balatonfüred (34:22) and Veszprém against Csurgó in an away match (24:35). The result is extremely imperious because Veszprém has won each match since it was defeated by Szeged in October 2013.
