Hungarian Champion travels to Presov because there will be a Tatran Presov – Telekom Veszprém match in the SEHA League at 7PM. Live broadcast on Digi Sport 1 from 6:55PM.
Hungarian Champion goes to the home of the team on the 7th place. Presov played 12 times in this season and they lost 8 times. However, they won 3 times and they also have a draw. During the last season they had the same amount of defeats and draws but they won 9 matches. Hopefully they will not start their good series now.
Speaking about the last season, we played against them two times. On December 19 the result was 39:31 in Veszprém. Gasper Marguc scored 8, Aron Palmarsson scored 6 goals. The most successful player in the other team was Radoslav Antl with 7 goals and since then he signed to Eger. On the second match of the season the result was a bit tighter but Veszprém could win for 25:26. Aron Palmarsson scored 8, Máté Lékai scored 6 goals. Presov’s players, Dominik Karok and Vlacheslav Sadovy scored 5-5 goals. Taking the whole league into consideration, Oliver Rabek and Jakub Hrstka are excellent players. The both scored 60 goals so far. Besides them Alexey Peskov scored 40 goals.
Our opponent is on the 4th place in the Slovakian Championship with Érsekújvár’s team. However, it is a bit misleading. Because of the SEHA League they played less matches than others, which means 4 or 5 matches depending on the teams. They are only 3 points behind Sala’s team, which is the first one on the Table. They played in the home championship on November 23 when they defeated Érsekújvár for 41:27.
Presov reached to play in the Champions League’s main draw from qualifying group No1. They are on the 5th place in group ’C’. They have 3 victories, 1 draw and 5 defeats. They won against Metalurg Skopje and Chekhovskie Medveli (on the rematch too). The draw is against the Norvegian Eleverum Handball, where Tamás Iváncsik playes. Their best goal scorers in the Champions League are: Jakub Hrstka with 44, Oliver Rabek with 43 and Alexey Peskov with 34 goals.
Unfortunately Telekom Veszprém did not start well its series of 5 away matches in the SEHA League. They lost in Zagreb with 4 goals (27:23) and after they played a draw against Nexe Nasice (29:29). On Tuesday there will be the chance to make it better.
Go on, Veszprém!
