HE-DO B.Braun Gyöngyös will host Telekom Veszprém in the next round of the K&H League on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The game will be broadcasted live by M4 Sport.
We have met Gyöngyös twice last season and managed to win both times. First, we met at the beginning of the season, in the third round to be exact, when we hosted them on home court and won confidently 39:19. Top scorer of Veszprém was Gasper Marguc with six, while from the opponent it was Péter Kovacsics with five goals. The second game was held in Gyöngyös, where we got the upper hand again, with a 18:31 victory. Our top scorer in that game was Gasper Marguc again, who scored six goals again.
Gyöngyös has finished last season on the eleventh spot with only six wins, five draws and fifteen losses. This year, they are in a better position and have already won five times, with a draw and four defeats. They travelled to Szeged two weeks ago, where they lost 38:29. Their top scorer in the league is Mitar Markez with 46 goals in ten games.

Eight players have left Gyöngyös over the summer, while six came. On the arrival side, there is the former Veszprém Fan’s favorite Uros Vilovski who came from the Romanian side Baia Mare. Besides him Milán Varsandán signed from Balatonfüred, Mirko Herceg left Massy Essone, Dávid Ubornyák went from the youth team of Telekom Veszprém, Barna Buzogány signed from Brasov and Milan Sajin from Dinamo Bucharest. The departing players are Péter Kovacsics to FTC, Ákos Lele to Orosháza, Matek Mikita to Chartres MHB, Pedro Matrins to Mezőkövesd, Vladan Loncar to Nexe, Márk Holló to Veszprémi KKFT, Henrik Hudák has retired from handball, while Rodolfo Oliveira is still looking for a team.
The “Építők” played in the K&H League last time, when they hosted Vecsési SE in the Veszprém Arena. The guest team had no chance, as Veszprém won confidently by 20 goals, 40:20. They played against Rhein-Neckar Löwen a week ago in the Champions League, where they managed to win with an impressive performance and took the two points home from Germany.
Let’s go Veszprém!
