We have met Fradi twice this season and we managed to win both times. First, they came to Veszprém Arena in November, when thanks to the splendid 16-goal performance of Dejan Manaskov we won 29:25. Last time we met in the fifth qualification round of the Hungarian Cup. Our opponent came with a young team so we won easier than we expected, 42:30, and went on to the top four.
 
Ferencváros is currently on sixth place in the championship, with nine victories and six defeats, collecting 18 points. The standing is really close in this part of the classification, as the seventh Eger also has 18 points, eighths Gyöngyös is at 17 points, while ninth placed Komló collected 15. Four teams are within three points from each other. Their last championship game was on 20 February, before the coronavirus went over the whole team. That time, they hosted Komló and suffered a 23:26 defeat. The top scorer of the green-whites is Bence Nagy with 66 goals.
 
Telekom Veszprém played their last game in the Hungarian Cup final against Szeged. After a close game, Veszprém took the Cup home for the 28th time. Our last game in the league was also against Szeged in March. In the final we won 28:26, and in the championship we took a 27:23 victory.
