Foreshadow: Eger – Veszprém

 

The fight continues in the K&H League on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m., when Telekom Veszprém plays against DVTK-Eger. The game will not be televised.

 

 

Last season we met with Eger twice, fist in the Veszprém Arena. The game ended in a 31:19 victory for us. Our top scorer was Dragan Gajic with seven goals. The next game was a bit closer than the first, mainly thanks to Radoslav Antl’s seven goals. We managed to win 26:31, with Dragan Gajic being the top scorer of the game with eight goals.

 

Eger finished last season on ninth place in the K&H League with nine victories, a draw and sixteen defeats. This year did not start so well either, as they only managed to get one point out of three games. They have a draw and two losses, which puts them to twelfth place. Last time they lost to MOL-Pick Szeged 42:27. Their top scorer in these three games is Benedek Nagy with fourteen goals.

 

The ”Építők” played at home last time in the Champion League when they hosted the Polish champions PGE Vive Kielce. The game ended with a 29:27 Veszprém win. The top scorer of the team was Dragan Gajic, again, with six goals. We managed to win both of our games in the Hungarian championship, and we hope that the Fans of Veszprém can celebrate another victory in Eger Tuesday evening.
