Foreshadow: Cegléd – Veszprém

 

Ceglédi KKSE hosts Telekom Veszprém to close the year in the K&H League on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. The game will be broadcasted by Veszprém Handball TV Youtube channel.

 

 

We managed to win twice last season against Cegléd. First the two parties played in Veszprém, which ended in the guests loss. Iman Jamali and Cristian Ugalde scored six times each on the 41:15 game. The second match was a bit closer, as the result was 23:29. This time, four players scored the most goals, as Andreas Nilsson, Cristian Ugalde, Gasper Marguc and Petar Nenadic finished with four goals each.

 

Cegléd is currently on twelfth position in the league, by collecting six points so far. They have three wins and nine losses. They managed to win against Mezőkövesd, Vecsés and Eger. They played against Szeged the last time in the Hungarian league and suffered a sixteen goals, 39:23. Their top scorer in the K&H League is Bruno-Vili Zobec with 46 goals so far.

 

 

Our next opponent strengthened with six players over the summer. They signed Marcell Gábor from NEKA, Zsolt Tamási from Budakalász, Rajmund Pocsai on loan from Dabas, Milan Vuckovic from Zeleznicar, Bruno-Vili Zobec from Varazdin and Marko Campar from HC Vaslui. Meanwhile Tamás Borsos, Péter Pallag, Nemanja Grbovic, Mirko Radovic, Máté Dávid and Károly Tóth left the club.

 

The “Építők” played against Dabas the last time in the K&H League. The game ended in a 40:26 victory, out of which Kentin Mahé scored seven times. Veszprém closed the fall season of the Champions League nicely, with a victory over the CL titleholders Montpellier. The next task for the team is to finish 2018 with a victory over Cegléd.
