Foreshadow: Balatonfüred – Veszprém

 

Telekom Veszprém will play as the guest of Balatonfüredi KSE in the next round of the K&H League. The game will be broadcasted live by Veszprém Handball TV Youtube channel.

 

 

Veszprém has already met Balatonfüred this season, on home court. In the fourth round, we won by eight goals, 32:24. Out top scorers were Máté Lékai and Manuel Strlek by scoring five goals each. On the opponent’s side, Bence Déber was top scorer with five goals as well.

 

Füred plays in the EHF Cup this season and plays the home games in Veszprém Aréna. So far, that played twice in the second most important cup series and lost both times. First, they lost to La Rioja in away then to Füchse Berlin at home. Both games ended with a 29:24 result, which means that Balatonfüred is at the last sport in Group A. The top scorer of the team in the EHF Cup is Dominik Máthé with 26 goals.

 

 

BKSE is currently at sixth position in the K&H League with nine victories and six losses. They played last week against Szeged in away, where they lost by elven goals. Despite the 33:22 final result Balázs Szöllősi could score five times. In the domestic competition, it is Dominik Máthé again with the most goals, seventy to be exact.

 

The “Építők” played their 300th Champions League last weekend, on which they managed to claim their thirteenth victory in a row considering every competition. This time it was Vardar on the line and with the 29:27 result, we ended up finding ourselves on second place in the group. The last time we played in the K&H League was last Tuesday against Budakalász, achieving a big victory of 36:17.
