Foreshadow: Balatonfüred - Veszprém

 

Another K&H League awaits for Telekom Veszprém who travels to Balatonfüredi KSE on Tuesday at 6 p.m. M4 Sport will broadcast the game from 6 p.m.

 

 

We have met already with Balatonfüred this season in a form of a closed door friendly game where we won 37:31. Manaskov, Gajic, Nilsson and Ugalde scored 5 goals each. Last season we managed to defeat them back-to-back against them. First we met them in the first round and we won in a close game 28:24 on home court. On this game László Nagy was the top scorer with 7 goals. In away we won by a confident margin. The final result was 20:31 but this gap does not represent well the picture of the game. Gasper Marguc scored 9 goals in Balatonfüred.

 

Our next opponent currently stands on 2nd position in the domestic league with Szeged trailing behind them by 2 points. They are unbeaten so far by winning 8 games out of 8 and clinching 16 points. Top scorer of the team is Stanislav Kasparek by 37 goals, behind him Zoltán Szita and Péter Hornyák stand with 30-30 goals.

 

 

Balatonfüred had a lot of movements over the summer. Mátyás Győri, top scorer of the championship, left the club for Veszprém. Other than him Ádám Vasvári left to Csurgó, Radivoje Ristanovic left to LeZion, Mihail Petrovski left to Dabas, Máté Gábori left to Gyöngyös, Gergő Rózsavölgyi left to Vác while Benjámin Sinkovits and Richard Nemes left to Budakalázs. On the arrival side, Daniel Kyvala came from Dukla Praha, Péter Hornyák came from Csurgó, Arthur Karvatski came from Minsk, Petar Topic came from Vác, Daniel Bősz came from Cegléd, Bendegúz Bóka came from Szeged and Zoltán Szita arrived on loan from Veszprém.

 

The ”Építők” played in the Champions League last time against Aalborg at home. The result of that game was 30:24 which means that the team is still unbeaten. Before the CL game Veszprém played against Komló in the K&H League, again at home, and won 32:17.
