Flensburg – Veszprém pregame statements

 

We asked our headcoach and 3 players about the upcoming Champions League round.

 

Ljubomir Vranjes: We are going to a very difficult court to play. It is going to be a difficult task but I think it is a good opportunity to show that we can do better than last time we played in Kiel. We will show that we are a team and we are going to fight together. It is going to be a special moment for me of course. I am looking forward to play in Flens Arena as the opponents’ coach.

 

 

László Nagy: It is a game with a big stake because there are 3 teams with the same points in the group. Flensburg, Kiel and we are fighting for the 2nd position. We have to concentrate on our job, as it is never easy to play, win or even to play well in Germany. We played well against Brest and we will try to show that side of our face on Sunday. The importance of the game is clear and if we win, we can stay in a good position in the group. We are preparing for the match in that mentality during this week.

 

 

Momir Ilic: We have to have the same attitude as in our last game if we want to beat Flensburg. Of course, it will be difficult but we played well against them before and we know how it is going to be there so we have experience. I hope that if we give our best, there is going to be a positive result for us.

 

 

Andreas Nilsson: It is going to be a tough game, it is always hard to play in Flensburg. We had some success against them in the last games and hopefully we are going to have a great defense and goalkeeper performance. That way we will be able to run against them. That will be the key.
