Final participants of our August tournament

As we have already informed our supporters we organize an international tournament celebrating the 40th anniversary of our club between the 25th and 27th of August in Veszprém Arena. According to the original plans besides Telekom Veszpém, RK Celje Pivovarna Lasko, Vive Tauron Kielce and HC Vardar was invited. Instead of Vardar, Orlen Wisla Plock participates.

 

 

This change was made because IHF put the Super Globe between the 6th and 10th of September in their competition calendar earlier but a few weeks before the Champions League Final4 it was changed and the new date is the same as our tournament's. HC Vardar qualified for the Super Globe by winning the Champions League which means that our club had to look for other options. Our first idea was to put the tournament away by a week but it was still not convenient for the Macedonians. After this we turned to Orlen Wisla Plock and asked them to participate which they gladly accepted thanks to the good relationship between the two clubs. We would like to thank their positive response and we welcome them in August, such as the other two teams involved.

 

As Wisla Plock joined the final fixtures of the tournament are determined. The planned program can be seen below:

 

25th of August, Friday:

-Introduction of teams

-Entertaining programs and concert in front of the Arena

 

26th of August, Saturday:

-3:30 p.m.: RK Celje Pivovarna Lasko – Vive Tauron Kielce

-6:00 p.m.: Telekom Veszprém – Orlen Wisla Plock

 

27th of August, Sunday:

-1:30: Exhibition match

-3:30: Bronze medal game

-6:00: Final

 

Further details and information later. Tickets will be available around the middle of July at the same time when season tickets will be out to the next season.
