Xavier Pascual: Congratulations to Veszprém for getting into the final and playing great. Getting into Cologne wasn’t easy for any of the teams. They performed great in the whole season. I’m proud and I’m satisfied with our achievements this weekend. Thanks everyone.

 

Carlos Ortega: Congratulations to Barcelona, they played better than us. We weren’t able to stop their fast breaks led by Karabatic and their defence was also extremely good. Some of my players were tired due to the previous match. We were defeated only 3 times in this season which is a great success. Ever since I’ve been here, we’re constantly improving with Xavi Sabaté. I’m grateful to our fans, they were amazing. We need them for being a great team.

 

Victor Tomas: I’m sorry that some of the players forgot to shake hands with the players of Veszprém during the celebration. Veszprém performed great in the whole season, the team gained several trophies. We played well in the final; both our defence and offence were excellent. We worked hard in the whole season, and finally we achieved our aim.

 

 

László Nagy: Congratulations to Barcelona, they were better. We were tired after the semi-final, obviously, but it’s not an excuse. I’m proud of my team, we did our best in this season but finally we were defeated by a better team. I’m thankful to our fans for supporting us in Cologne. We continue working hard in the next season. This achievement is a big step since we got the 4th place last year. Next year we want to be back again, but so many things are coming until that.
