Xavi Sabaté: First of all I would like to congratulate for the home team. Unfortunately we had a lot of bad shots in the first half and if we want to win away we cannot let bad shots because we need to perform well from every aspects. All in all I think that we played well, especially in defense. There was a big difference but the team fought hard in the second half and believed in victory. We came back into the game but we had some mistakes. I am proud of my team and fans. It is a huge thing that 500 Hungarian fans came with us.

 

Dragan Gajic: I congratulate the home team for the victory. It is always a great pleasure to play here in such a good atmosphere. I feel that both team gave more than 100%. It was hard to came back into the game when we had a 7-8-goal difference. The goalkeepers saved fantastically and it was their evening. It is true that we lost the game but we are proud. I feel that we are playing better and better because we are working hard for that. Of course we need to work hard because it is a very powerful group.

 

 

Xavi Pascual: First of all I would like to tell anyone that I am very happy to sit next to Xavi Sabaté because he is one of the young players I trained when they were 14-15 years old. That is why I feel sorry for playing against him. I think that he is a very great coach and a good man. One can say that this match was normal in this Champions League series, in which everything can happen. It was a very serious match on which the actual performance and abilities had great importance. I am proud of my team because they played as a team and performed well when they were shorthanded. Vargas was fantastic in the goal but the others played well too, especially Raúl Entrerrios who managed the team well. I am thankful to everyone, both the team and fans, for today’s success

 

Victor Tomas: It was a hard game as we expected because we played against the team which was in the finals of the Champions League in the last two years. We did everything what we has planned. We prepared hard during the whole week and the players were amazing today. We were in advantage during the match but Veszprém fought hard and caught up for 2 goals. When you play against Veszprém you can never be so sure that you would win, you need to play hard during the 60 minutes because they can catch up anytime. We played maturely and when Veszprém caught up with us we stayed calm and did long attacks. Maybe that is the reason why we won, which I am very glad for.
