Ljubomir Vranjes: I would like to start by telling that I am happy for the 2 points and happy for my team. We came directly from Flensburg without any practice. It is not easy to play in away in this league. Some of my players were tired; we did not have Lékai or Nenadic. It was the first time I saw László Nagy as a playmaker and I liked it. There were some misunderstandings but the most important is that we stood together and won the 2 points. We have to concentrate on the weekend now. Congratulations to Eger for a good fight, they never gave up. I liked what I saw. It was a great match.
Gábor Ancsin: First, I would like to congratulate Eger because they fought well during the whole game. I can only repeat the coach, the team just got back from Flensburg after a tough clash. I think the game had good periods and it was a great preparation for us for the upcoming Champions League match in the weekend. Good luck for Eger in the future.
Edmond Tóth: First, I would like to say congratulations to Veszprém; second, I would like to congratulate my team because they fought well tonight. They took themselves out to the court. I have to say I do not know when was the last time I saw my team playing with this creativity. It showed in goals too, as we could score 26 of them, which can be a decisive factor for the future. I hope that we can build on this for the games to come. We will be able to build on the defense for sure, because I think we stopped our opponent well with our 6-meter wall, although they did not have a playmaker. I believe that the players who play in Veszprém has the ability to solve a problem like that. What we wanted to do, that is to enjoy the game and to entertain the crowd, was achieved properly. Thanks to the fans who attended this game. It is great to see and Eger loves handball this much.
Andrej Petro: Congratulations to Veszprém for the victory. It was a tough game but I think we played well. Veszprém is another universe. We wanted to start well, and we could do that. We have to carry on like that, and have to build on this game. Congratulations to everybody, and thanks for the Supporters. We would like to play like this to have a full hall next time as well.
