Ljubomir Vranjes: This game was perfect to see how well this league has improved. Our defense was not so aggressive in the first half so we could not score easy goals. For the second period, our defense got tougher and we could expand our lead thanks to the fast break goals. We are happy for the final result. We have one week to prepare for our first Champions League game.
Manuel Strlek: Our defense was not good in the first half, so we could not score so many fast break goals. This has changed for the second half, thanks to our better defense. This is the road that we have to walk on because it is easier to score from easy chances than 6 against 6. The second wave of our fast breaks worked well also, which I am happy for because we have practiced it a lot. We would like to thank the home fans for the fantastic atmosphere.

Gyula Forgács: Congratulations to Veszprém, it is a well deserved win. We had a chance until the 35th minute, than we started to concede a lot of easy goals. It is a huge thing what we did in the first half and I am satisfied with the number of goals we scored. It is normal that a team like this grinds us in, because they dictate such a huge tempo. It would have been nice to stay within 10 goals. We can lean on our first half performance for the future. We are on a good way. Our defense improved and goal scoring was good as well. It was a great match for preparation.
Tamás Koller: Congratulations to Veszprém. It was good to play against them because we can see the level that we want to reach in the future. I think our team is unique in a way that, our oldest player is 25 years old and every player is Hungarian. It was hard to fight against Veszprém’s big and strong, or very fast players. We have to start collecting points next week against Mezőkövesd. If our will of fight stays, there will be no problem.
