Xavi Sabaté: I congratulate Csurgó’s team and coach Sótonyi. They did a great job and it could be seen on today’s match too, because they played really well. I wish them good luck in the future, I am sure that they will have a good season. We knew that it would be a hard game and we were right. We started the match well, we had a great defense and we scored easy goals. However, Csurgó’s goalkeeper saved well and they could score goals from fast breaks while we made a lot of mistakes in our attack. We did not play well in the second half but we fought hard and I congratulate to my players for this effort. We will have a long season and we have to apply a kind of rotation in order to avoid injuries. I congratulate Marko Kopljar and Dávid Fekete because they have played fantastically in the second half. Moreover I also congratulate the home fans, they made a good atmosphere.

 

Máté Lékai: I congratulate Csurgó for today’s match and the qualification in the European competition. Everybody loves handball in Csurgó and their new arena looks really nice. We have a lot to do but we try to get in the best shape as soon as possible.

 

 

László Sótonyi: It is always a pleasure when Veszprém comes to our city. I congratulate for their victory. I think that in the second half we looked up on the scoreboard and we got scared. We made a lot of mistakes when we had advantage and it shows that we do not have enough routine yet. We need these matches in order to improve. We could learn a lot from this game. I am proud of my players they did everything but after a while the difference between the two teams came to light. We would like to play well again against Vác. I trust in my team’s further improvement. Our young team work hard and I hope that we will see this in the results. I wish Veszprém good luck.

 

Tibor Balogh: It was a really good game. We tried to do our best and win this game even if we knew that we play against one of the world’s best teams. We have a lot of young players but I think that we are on the right track to reach our goals. A good team has formed in Csurgó. We always try to do our best. It was really good to play in such a good mood so we enjoyed the game. I congratulate Veszprém and I wish them good luck.
