Ljubomir Vranjes: When we arrived to the hall, I thought we were tired. I saw the tiredness on the faces of the players. I was a bit worried and after 4 minutes, they were 3-0 so I had some good intuitions. Step by step we took a goal, the goalkeeper made some saves and we had better defense. Their goalkeeper did a lot of saves the whole game. We had good situations but sometimes we lost the concentration. The second part of the first half I changed some players and they really ran away. We had an advantage with a couple of goals and we kept that for the game. In the second half, it was the same picture. Csurgó’s goalkeeper saved a lot, but we had a good game nevertheless. I am happy about that. It was important two points. I wish Csurgó good luck for the season and since this is probably the last time we see each other, Merry christmas and happy new year to all of you.
Kent Robin Tonnesen: I would like to thank Csurgó for the good game. We had a difficult start but I think we had a good game. We had some troubles in the beginning, we did not play at the level we wanted to. After a while, we started to play a better defense and we could make some easy goals. We punished their mistakes. I think we did it well today. In conclusion, I am happy for the 2 points.
József Bencze: Congratulations to Veszprém and good luck for them in the Champions League and in the championship as well. We had some injuries this week, our starting playmakers are injured or coming out of an injury. This set the tone for the team’s performance. We conceded a lot of easy goals, which was acceptable from a team like Veszprém, but it would have been acceptable for us to run back and defend as well. I missed this from my team today. This decided the game. It is hard to play this game without a center back but we tried everything we could. We would like to thank our supporters for cheering throughout the entire game. This is all we could give for them tonight.
Martin Varjú: First of all congratulations to Veszprém for the victory. I think we started the game well, we could hold ourselves for a longer period of time but as soon as our opponent’s defense got stronger and they could score easy goals, they ran by us. We could hold that 8-10-12 goals deficit in the second period, which is a realistic result of this game. We fought well today. Huge thanks to our fans for coming out tonight.
