Charity of our players and fans

This year’s Christmas charity event took place in the MVM Veszprém - Borac Banja Luka match when we waited for the fans’ donations. This year we collected donations for Kozmutza Flora Nursery, Primary School, Special Skills Vocational School, College and Unified Special Education Methodology Institute.

 

 

We received numerous gifts and donations from our fans. Our staff exhibited the kids’ drawings around the Christmas tree in the Arena’s hall. All of the empty boxes soon were filled with books, toys, clothes and bedclothes. There were of course many touching moments during the event but the nicest one might be when one of our fans gave his or his child’s favorite toy after saying goodbye to the good memories connected to it.

 

Our player also brought their gifts; in addition they, along with a local businessman, raised a great amount of money to which the fans’ donations were added, so nearly 1 million forints were raised. The Institute is going to spend the money for lifting equipments for children with multiple disabilities, blood glucose and blood pressure meters, and other necessary devices.

 

 

Yesterday afternoon, László Nagy and Máté Lékai representing our team visited Kozmutza Flóra Special Skills School where they were warmly welcomed. The children were really happy for the gifts and of course that they met two players of their favorite team. The members of the Institute have been very grateful to the team and the fans for their amazing charity.
