István Gulyás: Our goal was to respect the opponent as we were taught so. We can give the respect to them if we beat them by 20 or so goals. It worked today. This was a game where everyone played well and it was good to see such stars perform well. Good luck for Cegléd, because February will be hard for them, but I wish that everything goes according to their plans.

 

Márk Dávid: It was a good feeling to play here, as I was born here and started playing handball here. It was hard for me to play today because I was very nervous, but after my first goal I was relieved and felt better on the court.

 

 

László Jakab: Congratulations to Veszprém and good luck for them in the European series, and for the Hungarians to the national team. Congratulations to Márk Dávid, who played well and scored goals. I think we started well but Veszprém got tougher in defense and after that, we were weightless. They could score easy goals. I think the spectators could enjoy today’s game, there were a lot of them. For us, the goal is not to be close in these games, but to win the important ones and stay in the league. We are going to fight for this in February and the league will go according to our taste. Congratulations to my players for the attitude. I always tell them, that you are not going to play against such stars, so they should show what they can do in these kind of games. We have to improve, this is where we are now.

 

Marcell Gábor: Congratulations to Veszprém, it is an honor to play against such players. I felt good during the game, maybe because of the fans. Thank you for them because they came out and cheered for us. For us, this game was perfect because the things that worked today, will work against easier teams as well. It was a good finish for Veszprém in the year, nobody was injured and we played a good game. The break will do good for both teams, everyone can recharge for the rest of the season.
