Ljubomir Vranjes: Almost every player could play whom I wanted. I could rest a lot of players. I left 5 players at home and some players were sitting on the bench. I planned not to play with them. I wanted to give time to Jamali, Ligetvári, Ancsin and Schuch who did not play a lot. Also Borzas who is a young guy. I am happy they got time on the court. That was the plan. I think Cegléd fought well. We did a lot of mistakes today. We did not play so much together so it is normal but it was too much for a Veszprém type of team. I was happy to see the young players of Cegléd, they have the will to play. I think they could do a better job and I hope they will fight more.

 

Patrik Ligetvári: I think the game started well for us, we could run through Cegléd. As we were heading towards the end of the first half we made many technical mistakes. After that, we finished the period well. From the second half, I can only say what the coach said, we made a lot of mistakes. I think we had 19 errors, which we cannot afford, not on this game, not on any game. I would like to congratulate our opponent, because they fought well and did not give up. I would like to thank the coach for giving me the opportunity and good luck for Cegléd in the future.

 

 

László Jakab: Congratulations to Veszprém and good luck for them in the Champions League and in the championship as well. I hope we can cheer for them in the Final4. We started the game a bit startled. I felt like we respected them too much, we did not stop them with faults. Our open defense was weak, but after that, we went back to the six-meter line, which worked a bit better and our goalkeeper had some saves as well. In the second half, we fought well and managed to come back from a 10-goal deficit to a six. If we have not missed so many easy shots, it could have been a bit closer. They made many technical mistakes too. I think the two teams have different goals. We would like to stay in the first division and the second and third step is just around the corner. We are traveling to Gyöngyös and Vác is coming. Those two games the most important ones now. In conclusion, the spectators could see a good game and everyone could leave the hall happy. Congratulations to Veszprém again and good luck for them.

 

Ferenc Imregi: I felt great on the court and I am happy that I could play against a team like this. Congratulations to them for the victory. I could play freely, I had nothing to lose. Thanks to this, I could prove to my coach and to my teammates, because I could score two goals.
