Brest – Veszprém pregame statements

There is not too much time for MKB-MVM Veszprém to rest. After the Champions League game on Sunday the team is travelling to Brest to secure the 1st position in the SEHA League season on Wednesday. Before the match coach Carlos Ortega and Cristian Ugalde were asked.

 

 

Carlos Ortega, MKB-MVM Veszprém’s head coach:

This will be another match without preparation. We will be able to practice only once, already in Brest. Moreover we have some problems because of sicknesses. Despite these we will compete of course in order to gather the three points. The Meshkov Brest is a good team; especially at home; they can cause difficulties for any team.

 

 

Cristan Ugalde, MKB-MVM Veszprém’s left wing:

This is a very difficult period for us, because we played in Montpellier on Sunday and now we are travelling to Belorussia. We have almost no time to prepare. I expect a hard game because it will be important for both teams. We want to win to secure our first position in the season. If we can do this then we will play relaxed against Zagreb and Vardar in the next two matches.
