Barca – Veszprém pregame statements

 

Barca Lassa will host Telekom Veszprém on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. in the VELUX EHF Champions League. We asked our head coach and some players about their expectations.

 

Ljubomir Vranjes: I expect a tough game of course. Barca is one of the best teams in the world so it is going to be difficult but we will try to keep the game alive in Palau. If we have a good day, we can also take points home. For that, everything has to be perfect.

 

 

Mirsad Terzic: We expect a good game first of all. We got to Barcelona with much respect. We know what kind of team they are but I hope that after the first home win in Veszprém we can play even better. I also hope that everybody will be healthy. We would like to win this game.

 

 

Máté Lékai: I expect a tough game, because I cannot even remember when was the last time that Veszprém could win in Barcelona, if it happened even. I think that the roster of Barca is one of the best in the Champions League. Lasse Andresson returned from his injury, also Palmarsson will fit more into this team, Fabregas is the starting line player of the French national team and he was an important figure in Montpellier’s CL run, they also have Petrus from Szeged and Kevin Moller from Flensburg, not to mention Mortensen. I expect a very tough fight. This is going to be our first away game in the Champions League and we will do everything to return home victorious.

 

 

René Toft Hansen: I expect a difficult game. It is always difficult to play in Palau Blaugrana. Barca is a good team, I played a lot against them and I love to play against them. I think they have a very good team and we have to prepare well and play without too many mistakes. Then we will have a chance to win the match.
