Ljubomir Vranjes: I think we did not do a bad game; we fight 60 minutes long but we made too many easy mistakes. This is not allowed to do. We prepared for the defense of Barca but it is a different thing to play here and do the thing what we talked about. I wanted also the new players to play and there were some mistakes in this way. The communication on the field was not 100%. I think we lost the game and we learned a lot today. For me as a coach it was important to see that we have to work harder every day to get one more level higher. I like how we fight 60 minutes as a team and we have to build the future on this thing. Because if we continue this and then also develop our handball with the fighting spirit we gonna grow until next year. I also wanna thank our great fans to came all the way from Hungary to support us. We are really happy for that, we heard them. The whole team is thankful for them. And also to Palau’s fans. It is always nice to play here. Maybe next time we will be able to win here. Congratulations to Barcelona on the great day I hope they will beat everybody else as well. We will see each other.

 

Dragan Gajic: We played good handball but we lost some balls and made some technical mistakes. We prepared for that defense, we knew they are aggressive, they do not let too much move to our back players. It is difficult to play against them because when you cannot get into rhythm then you start to panic a little bit and then you rather choose to solve the things individually. Congrats to Barca, they deserve this win today. We will see each other in Veszprém and I hope we will be happier.

 

 

Xavier Pasqual: Thank you for this match because it was a great game in the Palau for everybody today. I have to mention the fans of Veszprém that gave us a color in Palau. It was amazing to play in this atmosphere. Our fans help us a lot because we played a difficult game against a great team. I am very happy of my team because we did our job constantly. Our 5-1 defense was very aggressive. We are in a good way in this moment but we need to work more because we made some mistakes that we can correct fast.

 

Victor Tomas: I am very proud of the work of the team. I think everybody can see that we enjoy to play handball. It was very nice top play in this atmosphere in Palau today. I think that we are able to play in defense 6-0, 5-1, sometimes 4-1-1 and also in attack we are able to play with 7 players make us a dangerous team. Today we showed we are able to play 5-1 defense against such a great team like Veszprém. I am happy for the result and hopefully many victories will come in the future.
