Xavi Sabaté: We hadn’t expected an easy game, last year the victory against them was hard. In the first half, we were great at defending, Mikler gave an excellent performance and our offensive strategy also turned out to be very good. In the second half, the team of Balatonfüred played amazingly, I congratulate them on their great performance. And I also want to congratulate my team on achieving a great result; gaining victory is the most important thing. I think we are in great form but we still have things to improve. I think we are getting better and better so I’m very happy.
Péter Gulyás: For us this game was the most important one and the next game is our next most important game which will be in SEHA League Final4. It was a great match where we could practice our defensive strategies and our fast breaks. As our fans could see, we had to run a lot during this match. I think we can make advantage of that; it was a great opportunity for our team to improve. In such game like this, it is important to make a good start, not to let the opponent team close up and not to let victory slip away. We had a great start; the key to victory was our great defensive strategy, I think. I’m glad I can play more and more but I have to improve. We always talk about these tricks with Laci (Nagy) and we can manage to keep them. But obviously it doesn’t work without practice.

István Csoknyai: Sometimes there are periods in life when we have to play in an unexpected line-up. But we also might have had some troubles against Veszprém with our whole squad. Our players on court did their best and there were several parts of the game when we performed great. Our team did everything to prove their abilities and how hard they can fight. I think Veszprém gave a performance which was enough for a confident victory, I congratulate them. We wish them all the best in the Champions League and the SEHA League.
