Xavi Sabaté: Congratulations to our team for the victory. We played against a great team in a great atmosphere whose fixtures are very hard right now in a tight table. Our defense was good in the first half and we had many fastbreak goals. We could use the speed of Marguc and Ugalde. In the beginning of the second half the difference was big but Gyöngyös played well. The run into the wall from Hegedűs caused us some problems. I am happy that we could give a chance to the young players. Congratulations to Ubornyák on his debut. He is a talented player. I am sure he is not going to forget this day. Good luck to Gyöngyös. I am sure they are going to achieve a great result at the end of the season, led by their great coach.
Dávid Ubornyák: I would like to say thank you for the opportunity to make my debut and to score my first goal even. The atmosphere was good here in Gyöngyös, the fans cheered their team all the way. I am happy about my debut.
Viktor Debre: Congratulations to Veszprém for this win and also for the win against Kiel. We held ourselves pretty good for about 20 minutes but after that we froze and they were able to score easy fastbreak goals. Thanks to this the difference was huge for the end of the first half. Regardless of this we can be satisfied with the way we played in the second half, and with the result too. The atmosphere was outstanding today. I have never seen this many people here. Everywhere Veszprém goes people want to see them they are the best Hungarian team and because it is the celebration of handball. We have important games left and I have seen some great things from my team. I am happy that we have something to build on in the future. We wait for our upcoming matches in great feelings. We would like to collect as many points as possible because the competition is very tight.
Márk Hegedűs: Congratulations to Veszprém. They played handball in good tempo and they played well. The two teams have different goals obviously. I feel like we improved a lot in both defense and offense. We have an important game next week and we have to be ready for that.
