Ljubomir Vranjes: It was nice to be with the team once more and play a league match. You saw from the beginning that the timing was not so good for us. Gyöngyös started well, they had power. I knew that I have a lot of players on the bench and that it will be difficult for the opponent to keep up with us. I think we tried a lot of combination in defense and I also think everybody played good in different formations. In attack, we had problem with the timing but in conclusion, I am satisfied with the result. Good luck to Gyöngyös for the rest of the season.
Timuzsin Schuch: Congratulations to Gyöngyös, they played well. It was clear at the beginning of the game that we are not used to each other yet, but with time we started to feel each other again, and we could get a step ahead thanks to our breakaways. Every match is important for us, we are going to Kiel on Wednesday, and it was important for us to practice some elements of the game. I think we could do just that. Good luck to Gyöngyös for their upcoming games.
Csaba Konkoly: Thank you for the kind words. Our aim was to play a game where we can play with much resistance against a Champion League team. It was clear that the difference will be huge, but we tried to manage time in order to avoid a bigger defeat. I can say the same thing as my colleague, that I can be satisfied with my team, because not many Hungarian teams can stay within 15 goals against Veszprém. It is promising for us that if we can give this kind of performance with this much will power; we can be a force to be reckoned with against Komló, especially on home court.
Milorad Krivokapics: It was a bit strange for me because I only had 2 trainings with the team, I do not know the team and the plays that well yet. We are not in the same league as Veszprém, so this game was great for preparations. We had plans that we talked about in the locker room and we could keep these goals. We can say, even after a 15 goals loss, that we did what we planned before the game. If we keep improving like this, and have the better players come back, we will be better and better game-by-game.
