Aron Palmarsson did not show up in today's training

Training started today for Telekom Veszprém. Fifteen minutes before the start of the training Aron Palmarsson sent a message to the the coach that he will not participate in the training instead he travels home to Iceland.

 

Ljubomir Vranjes notified the Club management and the company managing the club, that he will not give a chance for the player in the next season. He decided this way because Aron's decision means that he does not respect his teammates and it does not fit into his philosphy. A professional player should not take his own interests in front of the team's interest.

 

The management of the Club and the company managing the club and the agrees with the coach and feels that the behaviour of the player is unexpectable with which he violated his contract that is valid until June of 2018. Because of this the Club will take legal steps towards the player in order to help the decision-making organization give the fullest suspension and compensation possible.

Telekom Veszprém and FC Barcelona agreed in June that the player will play in Veszprém next season and that FC Barcelona will not buy the right to the player for 2017/2018. This agreement is not influenced by the player's violation of contract.
